Oversees market analytics team projects. Designs and leads local market planning and analysis. Leads a multitude of diverse projects ranging from Local Market Planning, Agency and Customer Segmentation to developing models to optimize allocation of marketing resources. Leverages customer information such as transactional and behavioral data, demographic and attitudinal overlays, and primary and secondary research to make business decisions regarding marketing investments,competitive intelligence and other functional areas. Stays informed on the latest developments, techniques, tools and processes in customer,database and direct marketing. Serves as the subject matter expert inmarketing analytics. Familiar with best practices on statistical methods, technology and their application in customer marketing in a multi-channel environment.
Position Requirements
Supervises assigned personnel. (See Supervisory Responsibility description.) Guides development of models to optimize marketing. Provides quantitative analyses and statistical modeling that impact strategic decision-making.Leads development and implementation of predictive analytics for marketing, preselection and prequalification of leads.Develops and determines ways to maximize the use of centralized customerdatabase for developing business strategy and improving operational efficiency.Understands and secures collaboration on the use of database analysisfor devising business strategy.Manages a team of professionals that deliver actionable program measurement and drive marketing tactics and strategy through data analytics.Collaborates with senior executives and managers to understand/prioritize analytical needs, to deliver solutions and driveimplementation.Partners with marketing and planning to support strategic initiatives and the impact of customer marketing. Builds and enhances processes that provide systematic measurement of Marketing Initiatives.Develops actionable measurement of marketing programs that drivefollow-up strategy and tactics.Performs other functions as assigned.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Oracle BI and Seibel Marketing Analytics are required Business Objects OLAP Cube and Emblem or Matlab is required Project Management and overseeing market analytic projects and Developing models to optimize allocation of marketing resources. This position will need to understand and be able to perform the technical skills as well as be a liaison with senior level IAMM Management to communicate the business analytical slope of projects.
Physical Actions
Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting ofoccasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying 10lbs. maximum.Functional ability of seeing, hearing, and speaking is required.
Physical Environment
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlledoffice environment, with occaional travel by car or airplane.
Education Requirements
Four-year college degree in business, statistics or related fields. Masters in statistics, mathematics or related area.
Experience Requirements
At least seven years experience in business planning, marketing analytics, or statistics with Farmers or equivalent external experience.Experience solving quantitative marketing problems related to marketinganalytics and development of marketing scorecards.
Special Skills Requirements
Siebel Marketing Analytics & Oracle BI (O.B.I.E.E) is required, Business Objects OLAPC ube, Emblem/Matlab expertise.Expert level in Excel and Access. Familiarity with Excelsius preferred. Relationship management skills.Ability to create effective business partner relationships.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to mentor and coach team members.
