Maintains and tracks production, licensing, appointment, and terminationrecords of agents, District Managers, Agency Producers, CSRs, DLSs, andFarmers Life Agents (Producers); maintains all Producer contract files;and track and produce various Agency Development statistics and reports.

Position Requirements

Maintains knowledge of the insurance licensing, appointment, andtermination laws, procedures forms and fees of each state insurancedepartment within the assigned territory.Maintains, and keeps up to date at all times, an Agents Licensing,Appointment, and Termination Procedure Manual containing acomprehensive, step-by-step procedure for licensing, appointing, andterminating producers (including examples of forms, schedule of fees,and any special requirements for each state in the assigned territory).

Processes and tracks the licensing, appointment, conversion, and termination of all Producers, and keeps records of agents with dualappointments and agents appointed in primary-secondary districts.Prepares and sends license renewal reminder letters to Producers 90 days prior to license renewal.

Tracks receipt of, and maintain, copies ofagent licenses.Initiates, monitors, and follows up on agent and District Managerlicense verifications to avoid payment of commissions to unlicensedagents and District Managers. Notifies accounting of all agents with expired licenses.Assists producers with resident and non-resident license applicationprocessing.

Verifies and validates annual state insurance department appointmentrenewal list and fees by company. Prepares payment to insurancedepartment and processes agent and DM folio deductions (whereapplicable).Establishes and maintains all Producer contract files, including pendingagent, reserve agent, career trainee, graduate trainee and terminated agent files.Controls the assignment of agent and District code numbers, determinesproper codes, and prepares agent record inputs, production and agencydevelopment quota inputs and any other inputs involved in the MarketingDirect Input (MDI) or other system(s).Maintains sample incorporation agreements and provides them to agentsand District Managers with instructions for incorporating an agency.Updates company and insurance department records to reflect change inagency status.Assists State Office and management in making district splits andconsolidations, making agent number changes, and setting up newdistricts and dissolving old districts; and codes and types required inputs.

Processes policy reassignment requests involving district changes inconnection with district splits, consolidations, agent number changes,etc.Prepares inputs for division realignments and reassignments or changesDivision Marketing Managers.

Prepares monthly career trainee appointment qualifications report.Prepares quarterly career training program administration analysis.

Prepares weekly agency development progress report.Prepares inputs to correct production information on career traineeperformance record.Keeps records of all agency development statistics, and distributesresults to immediate supervisors, District Managers, State Executives,Division Marketing Managers, and others.

Prepares all required career trainee advices and career administrationforms to increase, decrease, adjust, or guarantee subsidies to career and graduate trainees. Notifies Marketing Operations Clerical Supervisor of adverse subsidy maintenance trends in Divisions or States.Computes amount of District Manager career participation liability,completes "Run to Daylight" forms, and sends to Service CenterAccounting for collection.Receives applicant flow data forms, and prepares quarterly E.E.O.report.Responsible for maintaining producer demographic data including name,address, contact number changes.

Provides changes to other departments as required.Checks forms and contracts (including subsidy recommendations) submittedby Division Marketing Managers for accuracy and completeness, andcoordinates agent subsidy/folio problems with Accounting Department.Handles agent/insured complaints in the absence of any other administrative personnel, and/or refers to proper department forhandling.
Assists in training new clerical employees.Prepares correspondence, forms and reports as necessary.Maintains hold-files as required.Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

Strong typing and computer skills are required
Able to multi-task and work in a changing enviroment

Physical Actions

Required job duties consist of occasional walking, standing, drivingand/or carrying 10 lbs maximum, and seeing.

Physical Environment

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlledoffice environment.

Education Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

Three years with FIG, including one year Salary Grade 26 or higher.

Special Skills Requirements

Personal computer skills, including word processing.
Candidates must be able to work Monday-Friday 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
