•Provide quantitative analysis related to marketing performance reporting, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of information required for key decision makers.
•Analyze and identify trends in marketing results by media channel (television, direct mail, Internet), and generate customized marketing reports to support media managers and other key stakeholders.
•Write efficient and quality SQL queries on very large data sets to report marketing results, and automate processing to minimize manual report generation.
•Validate and verify data and resolve anomalies.
•Support employees in other departments by creating quick queries for various ad hoc requests.
•Work directly with Senior Management on database reports and analysis.
•Perform regular analysis to monitor the business and identify trends and opportunities.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

•Qualified candidates must have 4+ years of experience in data mining/modeling, marketing analytics, database marketing, or other data intensive analytical role.
•Direct Marketing and/or Insurance experience a plus.
•Must be proficient with Oracle and SQL. Experience using SAS is a plus.
•Experience in data warehousing environment is preferred.
•Must possess advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables, linking to external data, and using VBA as an automation tool.
•Requires strong attention to detail and follow through.
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take on responsibility and work well under deadlines.
•Must be able to work independently, and have the tenacity to research and overcome problems.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience working in a team environment and as an individual contributor.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
