Oversee the function of marketing performance reporting, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of information required for key decision makers.

Position Requirements

•Oversee the function of marketing performance reporting, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of information required for key decision makers.
•Add value to reporting by proactively seeking insights from media managers, competitive analysis, product management, operations and call centers, actuarial staff, etc. to interpret marketing performance results.
•Manage project workflow, including project prioritization and resource allocation.
•Manage automation of new reporting and analysis, including creation of marketing dashboards. Task may be completed with internal or vendor resources, and requires ability to visualize the end-result and seek design input from a variety of stakeholders, including Operations and Call Centers.
•Influence internal clients on the best query approach to address their questions and issues. Raise issues to them that are uncovered during independent proactive queries. Requires integrating knowledge of business issues with expertise in query methodologies.
•Proactively consult with internal, cross-functional clients (e.g., Product Management, Finance, Operations, etc.) at any level of organization (e.g., Officer to Manager) to understand their strategic or tactical business challenge for which customer information is critical.
•Interface effectively with modeling and statistical staff to mutually address issues requiring multiple analytical approaches. Requires basic familiarity with statistical language and concepts.
•Synthesize data and present results with appropriate business insight/context in writing and orally to management, including Officers. Provide strategic recommendations.
•Manage and develop professional staff: 1) Delegate work, 2) Provide project supervision, including client consultations, and 3) Provide expert counsel on analytical methodologies as well as business knowledge context. Establish ongoing training and oversight to constantly develop the skills of the Reporting & Insights team.
•Provide orientation and training on how to maximize usefulness of reports by end-users.

•Some experience with SAS, Oracle, SQL is a plus.

Education Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience. MBA or MS degree is highly preferred.

Experience Requirements

•Minimum of 8 years of experience in business insights, preferably in marketing, product management and in the insurance or financial services industry.
