Review User Specifications and produce technical design specifications for Document Output, Image and Archive solutions related to intergration activities.
Position Requirements
-Ensure all proposed solutions are compatible with Architecture and Security standards.
-Support/oversee Proof of Concept and developed applications testing.
-Identify tools and techniques which improve reliability and productivity of Document Systems.
Oversee certification and introductions of new tools for use in development of Document Systems Solutions.
-Communicate with all levels of Management and Technical Staff.
-Act as technical mentor and guide activities of programming staff.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
-7-10 years systems development.
-JAVA and UNIX experience preferred.
-3 plus years implementing technologies on multiple platforms.
-3 plus years experience with Print and Publishing Applications.
-3 plus years with Exstream preferred.
-Familiarity with Xerox Production Printers.
-Familiarity with variety Print Description Languages (PS, PCL, AFP, Metacode).
-Familiarity with Print Management Systems (Solimar, IPW, Prisma).
Familiarity with Document Archive Systems (Documentus, Filenet, Plexus).
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
