Production Coordinator for Media Services.
Manages the research, development and design of proposals, special projects and programs, designed to improve the productivity, profitability and professionalism of the Claims Operation. Works directly with Home Office Senior Management and Field Management providing data, information and analysis. Analyzes the effectiveness of new and existing systems, processes and procedures.
Position Requirements
Production Coordinator for Media Services.
Acts as project lead with ultimate responsibility for project results, timeliness. Manages the research, development and design of special projects and programs, monitoring program progress and providing analysis of trends. Identifies, tracks and reports project financial data and explains deviations from plan. Participates in strategic, operational, and tactical planning. Designs and documents complex business processes. Utilizes in-depth business knowledge in consultation with management on technical issues. Participates in decision-making with management who has policy-making authority. Has responsibility to specify user requirements within a project for multiple, highly integrated applications. This activity applies business sector knowledge to help customers solve business problems with appropriate technology. Directs the development of new and revised systems and procedures for carrying out the Claims function in relation to department objectives. Directs and coordinates proper research and planning to project the impact of proposed new and revised procedures and programs prior to their adoption, and to evaluate the results of such procedures ad programs after their implementation. Evaluates all project requests and related tasks and works with peers and Management to establish priorities. Directs the creation and administration of new programs and materials. Keeps current with governmental regulations, and changes within the organization that affect Claims Systems. Directs and coordinates necessary changes to these systems to support the evolving environment. Develops and administers audit procedures to ensure compliance with implementation strategies and effectiveness of programs. Develops and implements required changes. Travels to field operations to evaluate effectiveness of Claims processes and procedures. Identifies, analyzes and creates solutions to mitigate and eventually eliminate unanticipated financial exposure to the Exchanges. Coordinates Claims activity with other functions. Reviews and approves Procedure Bulletins affecting Claims Operations prior to distribution. Initiates appropriate contacts and activities with outside vendors to solicit assistance with administration and development of support programs. Maintains contacts with various Home Office, and field operations personnel to facilitate in-house research activities. Represents Claims as a member of intra-departmental project teams. Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Candidates MUST have: 3-5 years media production experience. Must have 2-5 years media production accounting experience. Ability to work with Senior Executives. Strong communications skills.

Physical Environment

Education Requirements
Four-year college degree.
Experience Requirements
Candidates MUST have: 3-5 years media production experience. Must have 2-5 years media production accounting experience. Ability to work with Senior Executives. Strong communications skills.
