Our Commercial Claims Representatives:
• Are responsible for investigating, determining liability, confirming coverage, establishing                                                                                                             damages and negotiating settlements for commercial litigated and non-litigated claims in a multi-state  environment.
• Work closely with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, police and fire departments, special investigators, attorneys, expert witnesses, members of the medical profession and all other persons pertinent to the investigation and processing of claims.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree along with at least 1 year of Commercial Liability or 3 years Personal Lines adjusting experience required
Excellent customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills
Sound judgment and decision making skills
Valid driver's license
Computer proficiency

Physical Environment

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment, but with exposure to some or all of the following environments when in the field: Uncontrolled outside environmental conditions Excessive Noise Levels Chemicals Chemical/Biological Conditions Moving Mechanical Parts Areas considered dangerous Conditions, which could affect the respiratory system or skin such as: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, oils, smoke, soot, or poor ventilation.

Education Requirements

Four-year college degree. Outside insurance education, e.g., CPCU or GCA is preferred.

Experience Requirements

Successful completion of the Senior Claims Representative Certification process required, including all prerequisites, required tool proficiencies (i.e., Xactimate, Collosus, etc.) and exams. External candidates have 90 days from date of hire to complete the process, and should have a minimum of two years of prior claims experience.
