Conducts research and analytical activities for management in support of plan development to achieve objectives.
Position Requirements
Identifies all available data sources for assigned project; collects,studies, and analyzes data. Summarizes collected information into appropriate format, such asreports, graphs and charts, as needed by management.R esearch projects may be specialized and require innovative research techniques to identify elusive data sources.Develops new data sources (such as surveys) and may, in conjunction withother functions, recommend their incorporation into established research procedures. Utilizes computers and software for accessing information, andcompiling, analyzing and writing reports. Maintains a research reference library.Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Expert in SPSS, SAS, Excel and PowerPoint,
Ideal candidate will have experience with Confirmit, m Tab, and WinCATI marketing research software.
Compose survey project and focus group reports that provide insights and actionable recommendations.
Analyzes survery results data, including frequencies, crosstabulations, means tables, multivariate analyses, and tests of statistical significance.
Physical Actions
Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting ofoccasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying 10 lbs.maximum, and seeing.
Physical Environment
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlledoffice environment.
Education Requirements
Four-year college degree.
Experience Requirements
3 years experience.
Experience in streamlining and automating ongoing research projects.
Special Skills Requirements
Ability to use personal computer keyboard. Familiar with personal computer word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, database software. Proficient in using the Internet.
