WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
At The Farmers Business Development Center, we are seeking an experienced Recruiter to source & develop candidate pools for potential Insurance Agents, Sales Representatives, & Agency Support Staff.

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
• Recruit New Agents, Sales Reps, & Support Staff
• This position recommends employee to be licensed or obtain licensing for Property & Casualty / Life & Health
• Track and report results daily/ weekly/ monthly
• Attend Job Fairs, Perform Recruiting Seminars
• Support The Farmers Center Operations
• Train and assist Agents in all aspects Business Operations, Marketing, & Staff Recruiting
• The ability to achieve goals set for Assigned Team of Agents as well as those of The Center.
• Implements all active and passive recruiting systems developed by the Business Developments Centers to attract and retain new agents.

Position Requirements

Coordinates and implements all active and passive recruiting systems developed by the Business Development Center Director and Recruiting Managers.

Administer agent referral program, recommends referral bonuses and selects target jobs for referral.

Implement multiple active and passive recruiting systems to recruit Farmers Agents.

Implement tracking systems to monitor the recruiting systems in the Business Development Center.

Conducts agent interviews and agency career seminars, maintains continuing liaison with centers of influence.

Recommends any recruiting, interviewing, testing and selection procedures changes to the Recruiting Manager for the Business Development Center.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Must have a minimum of 1+ year Sales and/or Recruiting experience (agency recruiting is a plus)
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills
• Efficient computer skills in Windows, Word, Excel, Applicant Tracking Systems
• Must be able to relocate for business unit needs.
• Must be able to work outside normal business hours

Physical Actions

Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of walking, standing, lifting and/or carrying 30 lbs. maximum

Physical Environment

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

Education Requirements

Four-year college degree.

Special Skills Requirements

Must obtain Property, Casualty, and Life insurance licenses with in 6 months.

Local travel required to develop Centers of Influence and job fair sites.
