Put your 4-year degree and your 3+ years of roofing experience and/or roof-engineering experience to work at Farmers Insurance. We are looking for a General Claims Adjustor with at least 3 years of roofing experience to be our “Resident Expert” for complex roof damage claims.

In this position, you will be responsible for:
*Visiting our insured’s homes to investigate damaged roofs, identify claims related damages and process claims
*Determining which losses are covered by the insured’s policy and estimate the cost of repairing or replacing the affected property
*Training and teaching Claims Representatives roofing processes and techniques to assist them in the handling of complex roof-related claims
Our Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
*Four-year college degree and at least 3 years of roofing experience and/or roof engineering experience
*Have excellent customer service, communication, sound judgment and decision-making skills
*Valid driver's license
*Bondable
*Computer proficiency
*Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus!

Preferred Skills and Abilities
This position will be focusing on the handling of roof damage claims and will assist with complex roofing claims. The ideal candidate for the position will possess the following:
*At least 3 years experience in the roofing industry installing and repairing roofs, and solid understanding of roofing installation techniques and repair processes
