Under general supervision performs analysis and design of major website related Company business functions, processes, and systems. Designs, plans and participates in the implementation of new, or the improvement of existing, web tools, calculators, applications and content.

Position Requirements

•Acts as a subject matter expert in the areas of: New Business (Homepage, Coverage Advisor/NB Tools, Landing Pages, Affinity, Search Engine Optimization, Quote, Bind, E-Signature, Corporate/Resource Content), or Policy Self Service (User Authentications, Endorsement, Payments, Secure Tools & Calculators, Electronic Policy Document Management, Secure Help Center).
•Performs internet-specific analysis of business processes and procedures for various units throughout the organization as required to successfully translate those requirements into the functional design of www.21st.com and other web properties as required.
•Maintains knowledge of and compliance with User Experience Design best practices, E-Commerce design guidelines, IT Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) procedures and practices and SOX compliance guidelines.
•Represents E-Business Team on projects directly related to the internet site(s) and contributes to the Analysis and definition of business and UI Design requirements.
•Develops accurate, efficient, well-structured E-Business process designs and procedures.
•Develops preliminary design for user interfaces, website KPIs/metrics and reports, reports site performance in a regular manner to the E-Business/Marketing team.
•Creates user acceptance test criteria, scripts and data; conducts test routines and documents results for business acceptance testing prior to code releases (testing phase).
•Provides support and E-Business representation during web code releases, performs production verification of specified projects (maintenance releases), service requests (weekly release or maintenance release), and regression testing as needed.
•Performs research on business processes and industry website rankings, best practices, and emerging technologies, as well as reporting these findings to the business, operations, and IT at large (distribution).
•Manages day-to-day vendor relationships, acts as liaison between vendor resources, project teams, and the E-Business and Marketing team.
•May be required to act as team leader who trains and/or guides the work of less senior staff.
•Performs other duties as required by leadership.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience Requirements

•Five (5) years in business analysis or systems development.
•Project leadership.

•Strong oral and written communication skills.
•Advanced technical, problem-solving and analytical abilities.
•Joint Application Design (JAD) facilitation abilities.
•Ability to work independently as well as to work productively and cooperatively in a team environment.
•Expert skills in the use of a PC and PC software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) as well as software tools and applications specific to area of assignment.
•Expert knowledge and skills in the use of database access tools such as, but not limited to, SQL; in the use of Visual Basic to create complex Access databases (including linked tables, queries and bound forms); and in the use of Excel including the ability to build complex macros and pivot tables.
•Ability to read, follow and develop project plans
