Accountable for developing information that supports e-Business. Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and monitoring existing data and new information sources. Analyzes information using data manipulation, correlation, and statistical analysis to evaluate customer websites, market trends, and competitive activities. Executes various testing processes to assure the quality of new or modified programs in various environments utilizing company standard testing tools. Analyzes existing procedure to develop improvements; reviews our three websites to ensure quality sites; writes procedures where needed; compiles statistical data; tests new sites and programs, and reviews suggestions.
Position Requirements
Analyzes business requirements and assists in defining test parameters. Contributes to business and testing requirements reviews.
Collect, analyze and monitor existing data and new information sources for the purpose of obtain findings.
Creates test scenarios to ensure accuracy of sites.
Builds and maintains analytical databases.
Builds and maintains reports on Farmers website usage.
Compiles statistical data for daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Prioritizes daily and monthly work assignments, communicating level of progress on test objectives, defects and other testing metrics.
Performs data manipulation, correlation and statistical analysis to identify trends, customer growth opportunities and market analysis.
Test new products and programs associated with our websites to ensure accuracy and ease of use.
Performs other functions as assigned.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Hours 9-6, 10-7, 11-8, or 12-9 (can vary day to day to cover help desk needs)
Primary - Help Desk Rep
Required - PC technical troubleshooting, Customer Service, Microsoft Office
Desired - Siebel CRM, Siebel Analytics, Advanced Excel experience, Project Management
Physical Actions
Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying 20 lbs. Maximum, bending, talking, hearing. and driving and some cleaning.
Physical Environment
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate controlled office environment.
Education Requirements
Four-year college degree, or two years of college and two years with FIG.
Experience Requirements
One two years of related experience or one year analyst experience.
Special Skills Requirements
Ability to use a keyboard.
