-Implement development and maintenance for various data requests.

Position Requirements

-Identify and define key aspects of the user interface;
-Analysis of speed, space and budget constraints;
-Error handling strategies;
-Review and interpret business requirements into high-level technology solutions;
-Involved in design planning and deployment;
-Design reviews and approvals;
-Communication to designers;
-Governance/adherence;
-Ensure maintainability;
-Work closely with business partners to ensure all the required data is prepared for a variety of regulatory reporting;
-Work with Business Analyst in categorizing data elements into domain types;
-Maintain Code Mappings;
-Maintain Source to Target mappings;
-Maintain a living document that provides information on where data comes from, their location in the warehouse, how data is processed, how clean it is, how data is used;
-Work closely with the Data Warehouse and Application Development team to ensure all reporting requirements are supported/met;
-Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
-Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

Experience Requirements

-7 years application development with background in either client server systems, mainframe or web.
-Expert knowledge of SQL.
-Experience coding, testing, debugging, installing and supporting business applications in an Oracle Unix Data Warehouse and Application Development environment.
-Experience reviewing and analyzing business requirements for modifications to existing or development of new systems.
-Experience Ascential Data Stage.
-Proficient in Data Architecture and Data Modeling products such as Erwin.
-Strong knowledge of Oracle.
-Knowledge of Cognos and MicroStrategy a plus.
-Strong knowledge of business applications, operations, system functionality, and system processing.
-Strong knowledge of concepts of reviewing and analyzing business requirement documents in order to evaluate the systems effort required satisfying those requirements.
-Project management, verbal and written communication skills.
