The employee’s primary responsibility must be to provide customer support services in the form of technical expertise, both directly and through a team-based approach when appropriate, and must review, evaluate, revise, develop, and recommend changes to existing architecture or the incorporation of new technologies when necessary.
Position Requirements
-Provide strategic consultation to customers for architectural development. -Develop and manage staff, directly or through matrix reporting relationships, to ensure that the highest level of technical competence and customer service is maintained. -Ensure that sound business procedures and processes are followed. -Support IT group and their customers by providing architectural services in the areas of: requirement definition, design, development, performance and capacity planning, and service level management for systems and projects. Research and evaluate new technologies and make recommendations with respect to their applicability or integration with existing architecture. -Manage IT profesionals including technical staff, project teams, consultants, temps, etc.

Experience Requirements
-10 years Data Center Operations. -5 years experience in design and installation of large-scale network and systems management infrastructures. -5 years experience in design of client server systems. -Experience in large-scale performance and capacity planning, service level management and stress tests/benchmarks.
Special Skills Requirements
Engineering knowledge of relevant technologies, encompassing both hardware and software such as UNIX, NT, MVS, LAN/WAN.
