As a Sales Consultant in our fast paced, high volume service center this position is responsible to sell 21st Century auto insurance based on incoming call inquiries. There is no cold calling. Consultants are responsible for providing insurance quotes and information in a courteous and professional manner. Opportunity to earn incentive bonuses based on sales results.
Position Requirements
Sell new auto insurance business generated from inbound calls received from prospective customers. May be required to follow up with customers on excisting quotes. Must meet all sales performance objectives in accordance with company risk selection criteria and sound and ethical sales methods and procedures. Maintain acceptable performance levels for quality.
Paid training is 7 weeks, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a. to 5:00 pm position schedule following training is Tues - Sat., 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
* Position requires High School diploma or GED * One year direct sales (retail, door to door, etc) or prior experience in a call center sales environment preferred. * Property and Casualty license is a condition of this position and part of the trianing program. * Must have proficient computer skills and be able to type 25 wpm. * Prior sales/customer intereaction experience required.

Property and Casualty license preferred (can be acquired through training). Working knowledge of varied inbound sales methods and techniques, P and C auto products. Working knowledge of various state underwriting, operational, compliance, and motor vehicle reports. Working knowledge of sales quoting software applications.
