Function as the subject matter expert for the 21st Century products and will be responsible for the quality testing of production fixes, system changes, system enhancements and new product development.
Position Requirements
-Create test plans and test approaches, authoring executing and validating test cases, monitoring project progress, project deliverables and project results, coordinating accurate and timely communication with the business representatives, development team, and Quality Analysts.
-Responsible for training and assisting Quality Analysts.
-Responsible for tiimely defect tracking, obtaining sign off for test case results.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
-Four (4) years experience in software testing and quality assurance.
-Proficient in Excel, analytical skills.
-Testing methodology experience.
-Knowledge of the SDLC process.
-Oral and written communication skills.
-Ability to multi-task.
-Experience in property and casualty insurance with specific emphasis on the rating functionality with personal lines automobile insurance and working knowledge of state rating regulatory requirements.
-Experience writing test plans, test cases, test matrices.
-Experience with manual and/or automaoted testing process and procedures.
-Understanding of end-user business applications, operations, system functionality and system processing capabilities and parameters.
-Ability to create and modify complex Excel spreadsheet formulas.
-Ability to work with all levels as well as communication across business units.
