Gives guidance, communications and assistance to Performance Managers;and through Performance Managers to agents, to the end that Lifeproduction and PIF Gain goals set by the Center are met. In addition,provides advice and assistance on advanced underwriting issues (e.g.,pricing and quotations) and assists with the training of center agents.
Position Requirements
Implement the training of Life insurance courses conducted new andexisting agents.Maintains close liaison with the Performance Managers to coordinate Lifetraining activities.Provides Life instructions, both technical and sales, at the BusinessDevelopment Center and in the field.Works with Performance Managers in the promotion of Life sales to theend that their goals and objectives are met.Assists Performance Managers and Agents in all phases of writing andservicing insurance (this includes visits into the field to directlyassists in all phases of writing and servicing Life accounting fortraining purposes only).As a member of the Business Development Center staff, works withPerformance Managers in analyzing deficiencies and developing correctiveprograms.Analyzes the Center’s Life operation and recommends corrective programsto Manager.Analyzes and evaluates the Center’s marketing trends, Life penetrationand product development needs and through the Performance Manager, makesrecommendations to the Life Marketing Department.Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
-Life Insurance Sales and Training experience is REQUIRED to be considerd for this position. -Candidates with their Series 6 & 63 are PREFERRED. -Candidates must be willing to relocate for business unit needs.
Physical Actions
Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting ofoccasional walking driving, standing and lifting and/or carrying 30 lbs.maximum, and seeing.
Physical Environment
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlledoffice environment.
Education Requirements
Four-year college degree and the working to achieve the LUTCF, or CLUdesignation.
Experience Requirements
Three (3) years of active Life Sales or Training experience.
Special Skills Requirements
Must obtain Property, Casualty, and Life insurance licenses with in 6months.Must obtain Series 6, 63, & 26 with in 6 months.
